College on the Horizon

I don't start college until October 3rd, but the date is gaining on me. I'm a bit nervous, perhaps because I take this opportunity very seriously. I know I'll be fine but perhaps it's the pressures of knowing that this will kick start my career in the gaming industry. And that, is very serious business. More serious than the internet, no doubt...



Anyways, I go to pick up my class schedule and meet the head hanchos over at AI Seattle. Despite my admissions officer saying I'm her best student, lol, I have my doubts. Considering my personality, and  past experiences, I know all too well, simple things aren't simple. Take for example, me picking up my schedule... it's simple... but not really. I have to meet the president, a guy who has made his mark in the gaming industry working for Nintendo. Jesus TITS! If I piss this dude off, there goes my whole career. People say he's a hardass, but I know better. My Drill Instructor in the Marines was a hardass. Fuck- I was a hardass in the Marines. So I highly doubt his demeanor will make me falter. Afterall, he's just a nerd with a high income... it's not like he's going to send me to the sand pit and fight me for my platoon's guidon and then threaten to eat me alive when I fall to my knees and strip me of my title of Guide... RITE?

I mean, he'll laugh if I wore my tusken raider costume to the meeting... RIIIITE?!?!?!



So aside from the college adventure, I've been busy searching for inked lines from comic gurus in the comic industry. I'm trying to hone my skills to earn a bit of cash and soup up my husbands new Camaro with bolt on parts... and then eventually get myself my own bumble bee car and trick the shit out of her. That is after I trade in my Chrysler Sebring Convertible for the Camaro. (FYI STAY AWAY FROM MOPAR!!!! They make shit cars and are shit mechanics)

Y U NO FIX MAI CAR? I mean for fucksakes, I paid you assfucks over 6 grand for a new engine and parts, and it runs worse than before I blew up the engine?!?!?! GTFO!

Basically, what I'm trying to say is, before I got side tracked, for anyone actually reading this silly journal, please, I need honest and down right brutal critiques on my comic colorings. I won't lie, I'll be butt hurt when I get them, but I won't take it out on you. I need this so that I can prep my self for a higher professional level. In the end I'll respect you more for being brutally honest and not kissing my ass because we are buddies and saying "THAT'S SO COOL" and blah blah blah...

So can ya'll hook a nigga up?

If you give me a llama, I will ALWAYS return it. I won't have access to a real computer on a regular basis for a bit longer. I need to install a WiFi adapter into my desktop and connect a wireless router to my existing modem. So I'll return them when I can.  I just need to gather the funds to update my hardware. So do not fret, just be patient.


I'm sorry I haven't been back like I said I would. Life is swooping me away. It's nothing personal, but I honestly have more important things to do. I'll pop in to say hi when I can, but I won't really be able to RP like I used to. Not with college on the way, and other very personal issues going on in my life that I haven't talked about in this journal. Things that are basically on a "need to know" basis... and that's all I can say about that.
