Ai Fall 2011

It's been quite some time since I've updated, and that's to be expected from here on out. I've finally plunged into college and I'm busy as hell, but I love it. It really is a dream come true to embark into something I've been craving for since I got out of High School way back in 2002. The Faculty and Staff are really awesome people. I don't have any problems, nor do I foresee any issues in the future. Some might be firm, but they are fair. Then again, this might be because I am a very serious and mature student who isn't fresh out of high school and was just weened from the constant protection of mommy and daddy. So I kinda of laugh at their issues, however, I do help them out when I can. Lol I just gotta get my laugh in is all.

Or maybe I'm just an asshole... yea... that's it!



Anyways, I realize now how blessed I am for this opportunity. I don't have to pay a cent to the school. My G.I. Bill and Pell Grant covers everything. Other former military aren't as lucky. I think this has to deal with my past college experience as well as the fact that I am a mother and a wife over the age of 25? I'm pretty sure my family and age have a lot to do with the amount I receive for the Pell Grant. This doesn't mean I don't fork money out. I still have to commute close to 2 hours a day (1 way)  5 days a week. It starts to rack up in regards to gas & parking when I drive, and then I have to factor in the train ticket for when I can take it... lol then there is this money hungry beast called Childcare. Fuck me sideways, that shit is like $784 a month! And I can't leave my kid with them for over 10 hours per a federal law of some sort.

But again, I really shouldn't complain. I still get paid monthly from the Post 9/11 G.I. Bill... and it could be worse. I could be a stupid kid rather then a wise old coot at the grand ole age of 27.



So aside from the wallet rapist, I went ahead and bought an Alienware M14x for school and got discounts for being a student, their promotions, and the dell card. This monkey is BEAAAAST! It's going to pwn the computer I built. The laptop is going to have Love "Darth" Collison engraved on the bottom to be adorned by the sound system and shall be complete with a bundled Alienware Backpack and Headphones. The specs on this creature are:

When you compare this to my desktops current specs, I'm quite ashamed. Lol, mostly because I got this laptop at around $1,600, whereas my desktop took over $2,000. Then again I have a spiffy monitor and a bad ass motherboard that can take 24gb of RAM should I want to upgrade, and I can crossfire the video cards. You can compare the specs on my deviation. And now I realize I need to update this photo. Lol it's really out of date.



I should get my laptop on Oct 20th, 2011. I hope everything is good to go on my beastie when I receive it. I'd hate to send it back and start disintegrating people in customer service for being asshats. But at least I won't be a Mac owner... thank GOD!

Yea, I'm a Bill Gates fan. GFYS Steve Jobs... oh... wait, you can't... you're dead. Good riddance to the guy who cornered the computer market with an exclusive OS making computer builders have to buy your product for your shit-tastic system. And to all you Mac Fan's who will rage in my journal. Feel free... cause I'm going to make you eat all your words. Especially if you try to tell me MacOS is a more stable OS than any Windows. That shit fails all the time, and so do applications installed because of the way programmers have to code for that fuckwit of a system.

Please, either GTFO and GFYS, or put on your big boy pants, cause I'm going to assfuck you with a 10 inch strap on with no lube if you come up in here with all that noise.

I'm open, yet I'm not open. It really depends on what you are looking for and the time I have. It will be different with each case. I apologize, but I have to focus on College more than anything else at this point.
