U.S. Marine Corps Birthday
A tit bit of information for those who are not amongst the few, the proud... the Marines.

Back in 1775, my Marine Corps came alive in a bar called Tun Tavern in Pennsylvania. Captain Samuel Nicolas decided to form two battalions of Continental Marines as infantry for the U.S. Navy. So you see kids, the U.S. Marine Corps is older then the United States of America.

Ooooh Mutha Fucking Rah!

We are the roughest toughest son's of bitches out there in the world. No one does it better than us, just ask a Sailor's wife! And when it absolutely, positively, needs to be destroyed over night, you give us a call- and we will fix you up right!

So if you know a Marine, regardless of if they are currently serving or they are retired or just plain moved on... you wish that Devil Dog a Happy Birthday!

Those that are familiar with *FierceOmen in #JediOrder should know that he just shipped off for Army Boot Camp> Wish him well or drop him a line on his deviantart page. He's a good person, and a patriot for answering the call of our Nation.

Lastly, my husband finally touched down in Iraq. He will be there for a whole year. He's already been to a couple of Palaces that were once owned by Saddam (insane in the brain) Hussein and traveled by convoy to get to places. He's no where near the main bases, and is pretty much roughing it out there. He'll be fine, but I know he's still laying his life on the line to feed his family, and to fight for what he believes in.

Both men are to be honored and respected for their commitment to this country and the rest of the world in the name of freedom. And not to do so, makes you a fucking commie bastard that needs to relocate with your own kind... in hell.

I'm from Baltimore, Md if that wasn't obvious from my hat subtle Orioles shirt (you cannot see the hat logo- but it's an Orioles one.)

I graduated high school in 2002 from Dundalk- went to college for a semester at CCBC Essex and played varsity soccer there before I shipped off to Marine Corps Boot Camp. Graduated from Paris Island April 11th, 2003 and went to several schools while in to include Still Photography, Digital Multimedia, and Advanced Photography for Journalist (or something like that.) I have traveled to parts of Europe, the Middle East and Africa while in the Marines and got out in Sept 2007 with the rank of Sgt.

I am currently married with a son, and doing pretty much what I please- as long as the kid & hubby are fed and well maintained... (they tend to run the house a muck.)
